Blow Molding
All blow molding
How to blow-mold biodegradable bottles and jars.
It would be a perfect world if all bottles were recycled, and the material re-used. But – that’s not happening. So, as you are waiting for mankind to change, we suggest you look at alternatives. Such as making bottles and jars out of compostable Biodolomer® biomaterial from GAIA Biomaterials. Our very own material that feels like plastic, can be used like plastic and works like plastic in production. But that is entirely biodegradable and results in some 80 % lower CO2 emissions than plastic. And that does not leave any microplastics.
Bidolomer® compound can be used for all kinds of blow molded bottles and jars that are non-transparent. The only limitation is acidity and very long shelf life (we told you that they will de-compose…right?). So orange juice: No. Milk: Yes. And water and pills and powders and what have you.
Just replace your plastic granules with Biodolomer® compound, make a few adjustments, and you (and your customers) become part of the solution – not the problem.
Try it. It’s just like plastic. But not.
Here are some products that are produced with blow molding using Bidolomer® compounds:
